Abstract:
Organizational commitment is one of the topics that has attracted the attention of management researchers in recent decades. Employees who have high organizational commitment increase the productivity and success of the organization. In this study, which was conducted using a survey method and the Allen and Meyer standard questionnaire, the level of normative, continuous, and emotional commitment of employees of the Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran (VaDja) was measured. The statistical sample consisted of 196 people who were randomly selected from employees of Shahid Babaei Industries and Shahid Mahallati Industries Group of VaDja Aerospace Industries. The research findings show that the level of commitment of VaDja employees in all three dimensions is slightly above average, which of course cannot be considered very desirable and appropriate, and measures should be taken to improve it. For this purpose, in the final part of the article, an attempt has been made to point out some solutions for improving each of the three dimensions of commitment using Islamic teachings and knowledge.
