Abstract:
In Islamic governance, the guardianship of the Muslim jurist (Wilayat al-Faqih), which is a management model based on Islamic teachings, can significantly improve governance and reduce administrative errors. The primary challenge in Islamic governance is the failure to utilize Islamic principles and values in management, leading to inefficiency, corruption, and governance errors. Given the importance of justice, ethics, and transparency in Islamic governance, examining the role of Wilayat al-Faqih in enhancing management and reducing errors is essential. This study shows that by strengthening moral and social values, promoting justice, and creating and maintaining social capital, the guardianship of the Muslim jurist (Wilayat al-Faqih) can help build public trust and social solidarity. Moreover, by relying on the principles of consultation and participation, decision-making processes are improved and better decisions based on accurate information are supported. Accountability mechanisms, through internal and external supervision, reduce errors and corruption, ensuring transparency and governmental accountability. Finally, through scientific evaluation means, institutional performance and service quality are enhanced and governance efficacy is improved. The results show that, through Islamic principles and modern management means, Wilayat al-Faqih can substantially enhance governance and reduce errors.
