Intra- individual communication has deep-rooted religious and philosophical principles which are not only taken care of by divine doctrines and invited man to reflect on them but they have been proved and approved by philosophical and intellectual propositions. In Islamic sources man is defined as a sensible creature having will and free choice and whatever he does the effects of his deed first return to him when accepting the responsibility and effects of his deeds and then to others. Intra-individual communication is important; first, because it outlines man's interaction and relation with his inner capacities – which forms his real character and identity and secondly because it has influential social and organizational functions. The most important organizational roles of intra- individual communication are: self-control, self-esteem, self-confidence, work ethic. «ارتباطات درون فردی» یکی از مهم ترین سطوح ارتباطات است که پایه‌ی ارتباطات دیگر (میان فردی، گروهی، سازمانی) به حساب می آید. ارتباطات درون فردی از مبانی ریشه دار و عمیق دینی و فلسفی برخوردار است که هم آموزه های وحیانی به آن توجه داشته و انسان را به تدبّر در آن فراخوانده و هم گزاره های فلسفی و عقلی آن را اثبات و تأیید کرده است. در منابع اسلامی، انسان موجود عاقل و برخوردار از نیروی اراده و اختیار معرفی گردیده که هرگونه کوشش او در قدم اول متوجه خود اوست تا مسئولیت و تبعات آن را بپذیرد و در گام های بعدی متوجه افراد دیگر است. ارتباطات درون فردی نه تنها از آن جهت مهم است که تعامل و رابطه‌ی انسان با توانایی های درونی اش را ـ که حقیقت و هویت وی را شکل می دهد ـ رسم می کند، بلکه از این منظر که کارکردهای اجتماعی و سازمانی مؤثری دارد نیز از اهمیت بسیاری برخوردار است. مهم ترین نقش های سازمانی ارتباطات درون فردی عبارت اند از: خودکنترلی، عزت نفس، اعتماد به نفس، وجدان کاری. https://modiriyati.nashriyat.ir/sites/modiriyati.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/7_2.pdf
