Every nation can achieve true happiness in light of an efficient and effective management. The traditional and new research works on management are based on the paradigm of profit and increase in production. Despite the success which the western world has achieved in this regard, management still suffers from numerous and acute problems, such as the one-dimensional approach it adopts and inattention to spirituality. Therefore, the present paper seeks to study the merits and Competencies for holding managerial positions in Islamic system by emphasizing on Quranic verses and traditions. Using a descriptive-analytical method, the paper makes use of library sources to collect and examine the data. Islamic teachings and reliable sources and texts constitute the theoretical basis of this study. The findings of the present research show that, according to reliable texts and invaluable sources, such as the Quran and Nahj al-Balagha, the requisites for holding managerial positions in Islamic system include: faith in the Almighty, moral and religious education, tolerance, accountability, seeking guidance from others to achieve happiness, affection, law abidingness, keeping away from egocentrism and lawlessness, justice-centeredness and fighting against injustice, fine reputation, foresight, expertise, moderation and maintenance of economic discipline. یکی از مباحث مهم بشریت اصول و روش های مدیریتی است. هر ملتی در سایه‌ی مدیریت کارآمد و پویا، سعادت واقعی را به دست خواهد آورد. مباحث سنتی و جدید مدیریت بر پارادایم «سود و افزایش تولید» استوار است و با وجود موفقیت هایی که دنیای غرب از این موضوع به دست آورده، هنوز دارای معضلات شدید و متعددی است که تک بعدی نگریستن و بی توجهی به معنویات از جمله‌ی مشکلات آن به شمار می آید. با این وصف، این مقاله با هدف بررسی شایستگی ها و صلاحیت های لازم برای مدیران به منظور تصدی پست های مدیریتی در نظام اسلامی با تأکید بر آیات و روایات تهیه و تدوین شده است. روش تحقیق این مقاله «توصیفی ـ تحلیلی» است و از منابع و متون کتاب خانه ای برای گردآوری و بررسی اطلاعات استفاده شده است. مبنای نظری تحقیق حاضر، آموزه های اسلامی و متون و منابع معتبر بوده است. یافته های تحقیق حاضر در زمینه‌ی کسب شایستگی ها و شاخصه های لازم برای مدیران در نظام اسلامی، که مستخرج از متون معتبر و اسناد ارزشمندی همچون قرآن کریم و نهج البلاغه بوده ، عبارت است از: ایمان به قادر مطلق، داشتن تربیت اخلاقی و ایمانی، شرح یا سعه‌ی صدر، مسئولیت پذیری، اهتمام به ارشاد در مسیر سعادت، محبت رحیمانه، قانونمندی و پرهیز از خودمحوری و قانون گریزی، عدالت محوری و ظلم ستیزی، حسن شهرت، داشتن بصیرت و دوراندیشی، تخصص، اعتدال و میانه روی و رعایت انضباط اقتصادی. https://modiriyati.nashriyat.ir/sites/modiriyati.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5_14.pdf
